Description Exploring Creation with Mathematics, Level 6 Skills Practice is meant to be used as a tool to help students who could benefit from extra practice master the concepts taught in the Exploring Creation with Mathematics, Level 6 Student Text and Workbook. By working through the extra practice problems, students will be able to strengthen the math skills they learned in the course. Curriculum Overview Exploring Creation with Mathematics, Level 6 is the continuation of the Exploring Creation with Mathematics series, which utilizes a mastery approach with a built-in spiral review. The extra practice problems in the Skills Practice book coincide with the concepts taught in Level 6, including fractions and ratios, rates and probability, negative numbers, and an introduction to algebra to prepare students for higher-level math courses. Answers to the practice problems are found within the Skills Practice book.   In the main course, you’ll find the following: Easy, open-and-go lessons Hands-on activities, games, and projects to help students make practical connections to the abstract math concepts learned Skills practice with easy-to-set-up games for review Colorful layouts and page design to make learning engaging for your student Options and suggestions for customizing a lesson to meet your child’s needs Devotionals connecting math concepts to God and His creation Supply lists, answers to the problems, teaching tips, and suggestions for taking an activity further   Lesson Plans and Materials The main course is designed to be done 4 days a week for 28 weeks, and each lesson takes 30 to 45 minutes to complete. A suggested daily schedule is included in the main course so students can easily understand what is expected of them each day, but it does not indicate how much of the extra Skills Practice a student should complete. How much or how little of the Skills Practice a student should complete depends on the student.
